Moberly Spartan boys golf squad edged Hannibal by three strokes Wednesday and kept their 2019 spring campaign perfect with a 6-0 record after winning a triangular meet held at the Fulton Country Club.

Moberly finished with a 176 team score while Hannibal turned in a 179 and Fulton finished at 215. on a sunny afternoon in which prep golfers were greeted by a 65-degree temperature.

Spartans head coach Jared Van Cleve said the 9-hole event had a three-way tie for medalist honors involving each school as Moberly senior Bryson Yowell, Hannibal's Preston Bennett and Erin Brady of Fulton all shot a 39.

Brent Hall of Moberly finished with a 43, Nick Long had 44, Devon Shannon scored 50 and a 54 was turned in by Camden Stuart.

Jayvee scores from the Spartans program are; Jason Rasmussen with a 50, Clark Freeman 61, John Lewis 63, Trenton Derboven 64, Logan Lescoe 66 and Jericho LeBlanc 70.
