Wosman, Lathrom selected Courier-Post Athletes of the Week

Palmyra sophomore Nolan Wosman put together a big week at the plate for the Panthers. Wosman went 3-for-4 with four RBIs Tuesday during an 11-1 win over Louisiana. On Saturday, he went 2-for-4 with two runs during a win at Moberly. Wosman has been a powerful force in the middle of coach Mark Loman’s lineup.


McKenzie Lathrom • Junior • Mark Twain track & field


Mark Twain junior McKenzie Lathrom recorded first-place finishes in both the long jump (15-01.50) and triple jump (33-07.00) during the Louisiana Invite on Tuesday night. A day later, she won the same two events at the Monroe City Relays, where she also was a key member of the Lady Tigers 4x800 meter relay team that finished first in 11:41.60.
