Hannibal continues success with dual victory

The Hannibal golf team continued its strong regular season Wednesday with a dual match victory against Highland at Three Pines Golf Course.

Hannibal shot a team score of 164, finishing 23 strokes better than Highland's total of 187.

Senior Trevor Watson led the way with a 1-over-par 36. Preston Bennett carded a 41, followed by Connor Bogue (43), Gabe Falconer (44) and Josh Paubel (55).

"It was windy but we competed well," Hannibal coach Jason Noland said. 

In junior varsity action, Nathan Lewton, Claire Thomas and Gabe Keesey each recorded 53s, while Hayden Rice shot a 54.

Hannibal heads to Moberly on Friday for a triangular against Moberly and Kirksville.
