Monroe City superientendent to lead Montgomery County Schools

The superintendent of the Monroe City Schools will become the new superintendent for Montgomery County R-II School District.


Dr, Tracy Bottoms was named to lead the district of 1,207 students, effective July 1. He replaces the retiring superintendent, Mike Gray.


“My family and I are greatly appreciative to the Montgomery County School District for this opportunity to lead their district. I look forward to continuing the great work that Dr. Gray has been a part of for the past nine years,” Bottoms said.
