Barbara Ann Young, 42, of Hannibal, passed away at 10:30 a.m. on Sunday, Aug. 4, 2019.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 8, 2019, at the James O'Donnell Funeral Home in Hannibal. Pastor Randy Drish will officiate. Burial will be at Grand View Burial Park in Hannibal.

Friends and family are invited to Barbara's Life Celebration at a visitation that will be held from 6 -8 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 7, 2019, at the James O'Donnell Funeral Home.

Barbara was born July 8, 1977, in Hannibal, to James W. and Teresa Lee Bates Young.

Survivors include her parents; two daughters, Brittney Caldwell of Hannibal, Breanna Caldwell of Hannibal; two sisters, Stacy Beer of Hannibal, Billy Young of Hannibal; four nephews, James Beer, Blake Beer, Joshua Young, Clayton Beer; and two nieces, Ashlen Rose Whitaker and Georgia Beer. Barbara is also survived by her companion, Louis Miller.

Barbara was preceded in death by her grandparents, James and JoAnn Young; one nephew, Jessi Young; and two cousins, Lloyd Powell and Heaven Davis.

Professionally, Barbara worked in home healthcare for many years at Monroe City Senior Center.

Barbara loved to shop, she was especially known for her fashion sense that always included that special flare, flash and "bling." Usually, shopping for purses, Barbara loved to visit Kohl's Department Store. Spending time outdoors boating and kayaking were times Barbara enjoyed. Trips to Gulf Shores, Ala., and to the Lake of the Ozarks, "Young and the Restless" and her mother's meatloaf were a few of Barbara's favorites. Times shared with family and friends were always cherished by Barbara.

Barbara was a Christian by faith.

Pallbearers will be Louis Miller, Joshua Young, Alex Young, James Beer, Blake Beer and Harold Caldwell.
