Obituary: June Misner, 72, of Hannibal

June Misner, 72, of Hannibal, formerly of Perry and New London, passed away at 5:05 p.m. Monday, July 1, 2019 at University of Missouri Hospital in Columbia.

Funeral services will be at 5 p.m. July 5, 2019 at the First Christian Church of New London.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until time of service Friday at the First Christian Church of New London.

Arrangements for cremation are under the direction of the James O'Donnell Funeral Home in Hannibal.

June was born July 12, 1946, in Kansas City, Mo. to Charles Ralph and Edmonia Elizabeth Clemens Toomay.

She was married to Christy "Chris" Frank Misner on April 10, 1965 in Kansas City, Mo. He survives.

Other survivors include one daughter, Leah Berry of St. Louis; one grandson, Dalton Berry (Rachel) of Perry; and one great-grandson, Lawson Paul Berry. She was preceded in death by her parents.

June loved being a homemaker and taking care of her family and friends.

She loved animals and especially loved her dog "Miss Kitty." June was an excellent cook, baker and gardener. June was very well known in the Ralls County Community being involved with several clubs and organizations including, Feministic Clique of New London. June was also a member of Enter Nous, Wednesday Club, Elmartez and the VFW Women's Auxiliary Post 4088 of Perry.

June was a member and deacon of  the First Christian Church of New London.

In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial contributions to be made to the Northeast Missouri Humane Society.
