Lori Lynn Ames, 59, formerly of Hannibal, passed away Friday, May 24, 2019 at Parklane Care Center. Lori was born Jan. 10, 1960 to Leland Franklin and Carolyn Nancy (Utterback) Terry, they preceded her in death. Lori was married to Donald E. Ames of Vandalia, and had four loving children: Robert Lee Ames of Hannibal, Michael Wayne and Heather Ames of Hannibal, Jennifer Lynn and Kyle Lewis of O'Fallon, Cynthia Lynn Ames, deceased as an infant.

Lori was a loving sister and sister-in-law to Leland Franklin (Junior) and Barbara Terry of Stoutsville, Bruce Wayne and Sharon Terry of Bloomesdale, Sherry Ann and Don Saylor of Mexico, Mo., Debbie Sue and David Berghager of Perry, two loving brothers who precede her in death, Lindell Eugene Terry and Dewayne Lee Terry.

Lori will be missed by her six grandchildren, Timothy, Austin, Autumn, Avery, Arison, and Rylie, two fur grandbabies, Patches and Gizmo. Lori had many nieces and nephews who will miss her. Lori loved spending time with family, BBQ, picnics, eating out, fishing, shopping, and loved playing Phase 10.

Lori attended Salem Baptist Church in Center and Living Water Ministries in Perry.

Lori was excited and thrilled to get saved and then baptized at Mark Twain Lake. Lori was a wonderful friend and co-worker. Lori worked as a CNA for 30 plus years. Lori Ames' services will be held Friday, May 31, 2019 at Living Water Ministries. Pastor Jason Yancey will officiate. Memorial visitation is from 2-3 p.m. and services following.
