Carolyn Sue Bozarth, 79, of Hannibal, passed away at 9:48 a.m. Tuesday, May 21, 2019 at Luther Manor Nursing Center in Hannibal. Graveside services will be at LaBelle Cemetery in LaBelle at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 25, 2019. Doug Wilson will officiate.

The family is being served by James O'Donnell Funeral Home.

Carolyn was born Jan. 30, 1940, in Colony, to Paul and Maxine See Bozarth at the home of her grandparents, Jason and Leona See North, of Colony.

Survivors include one brother, Bill Bozarth (Rita) of Knox City; two sisters, Jean Bozarth of Columbia and Colleen Cornwell (Darrell) of Sedalia; two aunts, Wilma Mauck, (Darrell) of Fort Madison, Iowa and Jewel See of Rutledge. Sue is also survived by eight nieces and nephews; 15 great-nieces and nephews and two great-great-nieces and many cousins.

Sue was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, James (Jim) P. Bozarth of Fort Madison, Iowa.

Professionally, Sue worked for many years as a nurse at Levering Hospital.

Sue made her home at Beth Haven Retirement Center after she retired. Visiting with the residents, playing cards, bingo and reading were some of Sue's favorite pastimes. Sue also always had a puzzle to work on. After she was unable to drive to her own church, Sue enjoyed going to Bible study on Saturday mornings at the retirement home.

Sue was a member of First Methodist Church of Hannibal.
