Obituary: Jody Wilson, 47, of Hannibal

Jody Wilson, 47, of Hannibal, passed away at 1:55 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 20, 2019, at his home in Hannibal.

Graveside services and burial will be at 10 a.m. Monday, Feb. 25, 2019 at Grand View Burial Park in Hannibal. Rev. Randy Drish will officiate. There will be no visitation.

The family is being served by the James O'Donnell Funeral Home in Hannibal.

Jody was born Feb. 28, 1971 in Hannibal, to Bill and Cheryl Key Wilson.

Survivors include his parents of Hannibal; two sons, Alex Wilson of Palmyra, and Tyler Wilson of Palmyra; two brothers, Cory Wilson, (Jeane) of Hannibal, and Matthew Wilson of Hannibal; two aunts, Debbie Cable (Pete) and Patty Key; and one uncle, Ronnie Key; one niece, Emilee Wilson and one nephew, Caleb Wilson.

Jody was preceded in death by his grandparents, Frank and Julia Wilson; and his grandmother, Sug Riggs (Andy); grandfather, David Key; two cousins, Reannon Key and Dustin White; and one aunt, Linda Key Rosser.

Professionally, Jody worked at Watlow in Hannibal.

Jody loved his kids most of all and enjoyed hunting and playing baseball in his younger years.

He attended The Crossing Church in Hannibal.

Memorial contributions may be made to the James O'Donnell Funeral Home for funeral expenses.
