Claude A. Powell, 81, Hannibal, died at 4:28 p.m. on Feb. 15, 2019, at The Beth Haven Nursing Home in Hannibal.

Claude was born on Feb. 12, 1938, in La Crosse Wisc., the son of Harry Powell and Helen Boehm Powell. Claude married Phyllis Szymczyk Powell on April 28, 1962, in Chicago, Ill. She preceded him in death.

His parents: two brothers, Richard and James Powell; one grandchild, David Powell Jr.; a brother-in-law, Dwayne Becker and a sister-in-law, Lydia Powell, preceded him in death.

He is survived by two sons, Michael (Gilda) Powell of Hannibal, and David (Stephanie) Powell of Hannibal; one daughter, Nikki (Jeff) Malone of New London; two brothers, Thomas and Daniel Powell; one sister, MaryAnn Becker; and eight grandchildren, Chelsea (Andrew) Stolberg, Amy Powell, Shay Riley, Kaylynn Foreman, Hannah Powell, Alyx Powell and Zachary and Olivia Malone.

No services are scheduled per family request.
