Sharon Kaye Hill Pults, 73, of Hannibal, passed away at 7:08 p.m. Monday, Feb. 11, 2019 at Hannibal Regional Hospital.

Sharon Kaye Hill Pults, 73, of Hannibal, passed away at 7:08 p.m. Monday, Feb. 11, 2019 at Hannibal Regional Hospital.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 15, 2019 at James O’Donnell Funeral Home in Hannibal. Chaplain Mark Burkey will officiate.

Friends and family are invited to Sharon's Life Celebration at a visitation that will be held from 1 p.m. until the time of services at the funeral home.

Sharon was born on Sept. 23, 1945 in Hannibal, to John Henry Hill Sr. and Henrietta R. Oltman Hill.

Sharon was married to George Leroy Pults on March 8, 1974 in Hannibal. He preceded her in death on April 6, 2016.

Survivors include two brothers, Ronald "Rocky" Hill of Kinderhook, Ill., and Frank Hill (Summer) of Bradenton, Fla.; two sisters, Cheryl Brown (Dan) of Lexington, N.C. and Shari Gilbert (Corkey) of Hannibal. Sharon is also survived by two grandchildren, Katelyn Pults and Wyatt Pults, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Sharon was preceded in death by her parents; son, Timothy Leroy Pults; two brothers, John Hill Jr., Vernon Wayne Hill; and one sister-in-law and best friend, Raye Hill.

Professionally, Sharon was a seamstress at the Bobbie Brooks Clothing Company factory in Vandalia. Sharon also previously worked for the 1 Hour Cleaners, Concord Cleaners and E. L. Smith and Sons.

Away from work, Sharon loved to quilt and sew. She enjoyed camping and fishing with her husband, George. A talented baker, Sharon made pies for all occasions and created the most beautiful cakes. An avid reader, Sharon enjoyed romantic novels. Known to those that knew her best as “Putsy,” Sharon cherished most the time she shared with her friends and family.

Sharon was a believer of Christ, the one real God.

Honorary pallbearers will be Rob Hill, Scott Brown, Eric Brown, Dustin Gilbert, Michael Daly, Lance Miller and Jarrell Smith.
