Mrs. Paulette Stapleton, 70, of Hull, Ill., passed away at 6:09 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 20, 2019, at Hannibal Regional Hospital in Hannibal.

Mrs. Paulette Stapleton, 70, of Hull, Ill., passed away at 6:09 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 20, 2019, at Hannibal Regional Hospital in Hannibal.

She was born Feb. 6, 1948, in Shelbina, to Ellis and Nadine (Gupton) Peters. They preceded her in death.

She married Larry Stapleton on June 2, 1968, in Shelbyville. He survives in Hull.

In addition to her husband, Larry, she is also survived by one son, Michael Stapleton, wife Sonya of Barry, Ill.; one daughter, Geneie Kindhart, husband Cory, of Camp Point, Ill.; five grandsons, Aden Stapleton, of Quincy, Ill., Tanner Kindhart of Camp Point, Ill., Brandon Jennings of Quincy, Ill., Kameron Kindhart of Camp Point, Ill., Brandt Stapleton of Barry, Ill.; and two granddaughters, Katie Kindhart of Camp Point, Ill. and Audra Stapleton of Quincy, Ill.

Paulette enjoyed camping, fishing and doing embroidery. She was a member of New Hope Country Church in Hull. She also enjoyed gardening and her cooking was much admired. Paulette was a thoughtful person. She was a member of Hull Hi-Neighbor Club.

Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 24, 2019, at the Kirgan Funeral Home in Barry.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 25, 2019, at the Kirgan Funeral Home in Barry.

Burial will be in Kinderhook Cemetery, Kinderhook, Ill.

Memorials are suggested to New Hope Country Church, Hull, Ill.
