Obituary: Matthew D. Wesely, 29, of Omaha, Neb.

Matthew D. Wesely, 29, was born Feb 26, 1989, and died Dec 28, 2018.

He was preceded in death by grandparents, Ralph and Arline Wesely, Dick and Rita Ptacek; and father, David R. Wesely.

Survivors include his wife, Amy (Sweets) Wesely; daughter, Katherine; mother, Rita (Ptacek) Wesely; sisters, Laura (Greg) Grundmayer, Emily (Jason) Sunday and Maggie Wesely; brothers, Michael (Tracy) Wesely, Andy (Meg) Wesely, Christopher Wesely and Joseph Wesely; many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, Jan. 2, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the West Center Chapel, (Heafey Hoffmann Dworak Cutler Mortuaries and Crematory, 7805 West Center Road, Omaha, Neb.) followed by a vigil service at 7 p.m.

A Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, Jan 3, at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 7790 S. 192 St., Omaha, Neb.

Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to Katherine's Education Fund.
