Richard "Spike" Dean Williamson, 33, of Independence, formerly of Hannibal, passed away at 6:10 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 26, 2018, at North Kansas City Hospital in North Kansas City, Mo.

A Memorial Service will be at 5 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 3, 2019 at Clover Road Christian Church in Hannibal. Rev. Tim Goodman will officiate. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until the time of services at the church.

The family is being served by the James O'Donnell Funeral Home in Hannibal.

Richie was born March 4, 1985, in Fairbanks, Alaska, to Perry J. and Susan K. Williams Williamson.

He married Danielle M. Sutton on Oct. 18, 2013, in Liberty. She survives.

Other survivors include his parents, Perry and Susan Williamson of Hannibal; three children, Isabelle "Izzy" Williamson of Payson, Ill., Aidyn Soebbing of Independence and Jaina Williamson of Independence; one brother, Jimmy Williamson (Anvil) of Fairbanks, Alaksa; one sister, Ashley Williamson (Rick Hester) of Hannibal; grandmother Sue Williams of Hannibal; nieces and nephews Anthony, Lilly, Lux and Angelus; and his faithful dog, Leia.

Professionally, "Spike" worked as a mechanic for the Midway Ford Truck Center in Kansas City, Mo.

Away from work, "Spike" loved anything Star Wars related. "Spike" also enjoyed Batman movies, especially "The Dark Knight Rises Trilogy" and Mt. Dew.

Born and raised in Fairbanks, Alaska, Richie enjoyed camping and ice fishing there.

Above all else Richie loved his family. He was a loving father and husband and cherished the time he shared with his family.

Honorary pallbearers will be Jimmy Williamson, Chris Thomsen, P. J. Norris, John Mastasi and Austin Schoepflin.

Memorial contributions may be made to the family for funeral expenses.
