Reba D. "Sug" Hoehne, 76, of Palmyra, passed away Wednesday, May 9, 2018, at Maple Lawn Nursing Home in Palmyra.

Reba D. "Sug" Hoehne, 76, of Palmyra, passed away Wednesday, May 9, 2018, at Maple Lawn Nursing Home in Palmyra.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, May 15, 2018, at Zion Lutheran Church in Palmyra. Pastor Wes Gerhke will officiate. Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery in Palmyra.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Monday, May 14, 2018, at the Lewis Brothers Funeral Chapel in Palmyra.

Sug was born Feb. 17, 1942, in Marion County to Edward and Gertrude Crane Wagner.

She was married to Darrell Ray Hoehne on June 9, 1962, at Zion Lutheran Church in Palmyra. He preceded her in death June 23, 2012.

Survivors include three daughters, Janet Lehenbauer (Steve), Karen Minch (Ace) and Susan Schwanke (Steven), all of Palmyra; eight grandchildren, Jamie Rhoades (Dustin), Craig Floyd, Caleb Floyd (fiancé Amanda Orrell), Justin Lehenbauer, Olivia Lehenbauer, Grant Powell, Carter Powell and Dalton Schwanke; one great-granddaughter, Alexis Amelia Rhoades; and one sister, Rose Lucke (Wayne), Palmyra.

She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members.

She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; and her brothers, Luther Wagner and Don Wagner.

Sug was a graduate of Palmyra High School, Class of 1960.

She was a homemaker. She enjoyed her role as a mom and farm wife. She considered herself a professional grandma.

Sug was an excellent seamstress and could make or repair almost anything. She enjoyed sharing this talent with her family and friends. According to her grandchildren, Grandma Sug could fix anything!

Sug was a former Fabius 4-H leader.

She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, where she taught Sunday school and sang in the choir.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Zion Lutheran Church and Preschool, for playground enhancements.

Pallbearers will be Josh Myers, Jeff Myers, Lee Crane, Dennis Crane, Aaron Drebes and George Crane.

Honorary pallbearers will be Larry Myers, Peggy Porter, Michael Wagner, Jeff Wagner and Tim Wagner.
