Obituary: Theodore 'Ted' Riedinger, 88, of New London, Mo.

Theodore "Ted" Riedinger, 88, of New London, Mo., passed away at 11:40 a.m. Saturday, April 22, 2017, at Hannibal Regional Hospital in Hannibal. 

A private memorial service will be held at a later date. The family is being served by the James O'Donnell Funeral Home of Hannibal.

Ted was born Sept. 7, 1928, in Riverside, N.D., to Nick and Margaret Beam Riedinger.

Survivors include three grandchildren, Reggie Riedinger, Robbie Riedinger and Colette Bohon (Jamie); and three great-grandchildren, Laken, Aiden, and Matti. Also surviving are nieces and nephews.

Ted was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Sid Riedinger; three brothers; and two sisters.

Ted was the owner operator of Theodore Riedinger Construction Co. 

He served in the United States Army.

Ted enjoyed fishing and traveling in his RV. He was an avid St. Louis Cardinals baseball fan. Ted also liked to go camping with his grandchildren. Most of all, Ted cherished the time he was able to spend with his family.

Ted was Catholic by faith.
