Delbert Leroy Darr, 90, of Hannibal, Mo., died at 4:48 a.m. on Tuesday, April 18, 2017, at Hannibal Regional Hospital.

Visitation will be Thursday, April 20, 2017, from 1 to 2 p.m., at Grand View Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, April 20, 2017, at the Grand View Funeral Home in Hannibal. Pastor David Scott will officiate. Burial will follow at the Grand View Burial Park in Hannibal.

Delbert was born on Nov. 19, 1926, in Oakwood, Mo., the son of Frank and Zella Giest Darr. He married Bessie Scofield on Dec. 23, 1979, in Hannibal, Mo., and she preceded him in death.

His parents also preceded him in death.

He is survived by four daughters; Kathy (Chad) Hall, Linda (Johnny Lee Wilson) Roberts, Deborah (Tom) Whaley and Molly Ann (Delbert) Allen; seven grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers are Sean Gathright, Kevin Gathright, Chris Powers, Johnny Lee Wilson, Daniel Whaley and Trenton Williams.

Delbert served with the Navy during WWII, and helped with the construction of the runway for the Enola Gay in Guam.
