Obituary: Sharon J. Wright, 76, of Hannibal, Mo.

Sharon J. Wright, 76, of Hannibal, Mo., passed away at 6:42 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 10, 2016, at University Hospital in Columbia, Mo.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 14, 2016, at the James O'Donnell Funeral Home in Hannibal. Pastor Randy Drish will officiate. Burial will follow at Grand View Burial Park in Hannibal.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 14, 2016, at the James O'Donnell Funeral Home.

Sharon was born Dec. 8, 1940, in Hannibal, Mo., to Elmer and Annabelle Victoria Driskill Lovelace.

She was married to Gary Lanny Wright, and he preceded her in death in July of 1983.

Survivors include four sons, Richard (Laura) Wright of Quincy, Ill., Gary Wright of Hannibal, Jack Wright of Hannibal, Kevin Wright of St. Louis, Mo. and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Sharon was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Robert Wright; and one sister, Sandra Rickey.

Sharon worked for over 28 years as a laborer at Buckhorn Rubber Products. She was an avid shopper and loved her dogs. She was a huge Betty Boop fan. Sharon cherished spending time with her family.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Salvation Army, in care of the James O'Donnell Funeral Home.
