A newborn made jaws drop at a Tennessee hospital this week.

Yes, Christina Malone-Brown was a beautiful baby. (Aren't they all?) But it was some of the numbers associated with her arrival that really had folks talking.

ABC's "Good Morning America" says she was born on Sept. 11 at 9:11 p.m., weighing 9 lbs., 11 oz. The birth happened at Methodist Le Bonheur Germantown Hospital in Germantown, Tennessee.

Germantown is about 20 miles southeast of Memphis.

"Time was just rolling and then all of sudden we heard 'wah!' and they called it '9:11' and then she got on the table and all of a sudden, 'Oh my God she weighs 9 11,'" proud dad Justin Brown said. "We have a true 9-11 baby."

Justin Brown and wife Cametrione Malone-Brown said they hope their daughter will help bring some positivity to the world on what has been a somber day since the 9/11 terror attacks that killed thousands of Americans.

"It's a piece of joy on a day that's so tragic," Cametrione Malone-Brown said.
