Jermaine Bell of Jacksonville, Florida, who turned 7 on Sunday, received a special visit from Disney representative Marilyn West and a bus filled with cast members and characters, according to Orlando Weekly.

Jermaine, who had been visiting grandmother Aretha Grant in South Carolina, saw that people were fleeing Dorian’s path and decided to use the money that he had been saving for over a year to help feed them. He set up a tent with signs along Highway 125 in Allendale and gave away free hot dogs, chips and water.

“I want to be generous and live to give,” Jermaine told WJBF-TV. “The people that are traveling to go to places, I wanted them to have some food to eat, so they can enjoy the ride to the place that they’re going to stay at.”
