Weather permitting, Missouri Department of Transportation crews will conduct several projects in Marion, Pike and Ralls counties

NORTHEAST MISSOURI - Weather permitting, Missouri Department of Transportation crews will conduct several projects in Marion, Pike and Ralls counties. Please see the dates and locations below.

Marion County U.S. 36 Eastbound — Tuesday, Sept. 10, the road will be reduced to one lane from one mile west of the Mark Twain Bridge to the end of the bridge for a walking bridge inspection. The work will be completed between 7 a.m. and 11 a.m.

Marion County North Outer Road of U.S. 36 (Jimmy O’Donnell Drive) — Wednesday, Sept. 18, the road will be closed from Head Lane to Shinn Lane in Hannibal for seal coat operations. The work will be completed between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m.

Marion County South Outer Road of U.S. 36 (Near Fiddlestiks) — Thursday, Sept. 19, the road will be reduced to one-lane traffic from Head Lane to Shinn Lane in Hannibal for seal coat overlay operations. The work will be completed between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. and flaggers will be used for traffic control.

Marion County Route C — Monday, Sept. 9 and Tuesday, Sept. 10, MoDOT crews will perform culvert replacement work on Route C located in Marion County. The road will be closed from County Road 241 to County Road 234 from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day.

Ralls County Route CC — Tuesday, Sept. 10 and Wednesday, Sept. 11, The road will be closed from Sycamore Trail to Route H from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day.

Pike County Route H — Monday, Sept. 16, traffic will be reduced to one lane from Pike County Route D to Pike County Route W for pavement work. The work will be completed between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. that day with an 11-foot width restriction in place.

Pike County Route D — Tuesday, Sept. 17 to Wednesday, Sept. 18, traffic will be reduced to one lane from U.S. Route 61 to Missouri Route 79 for pavement work. The work will be completed between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. that day with an 11-foot width restriction in place.

Motorists can expect delays and will need to use caution when traveling through the work zones during these times or will need to use alternate routes for stated closures. Please remember to obey all work zone signs and personnel, and put down your cell phone to help eliminate distractions.
