Hannibal Walk to End Alzheimer's to build on successful 2018 event

HANNIBAL — Hannibal residents will join the fight to end Alzheimer’s disease at the Greater Missouri Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s beginning at 8 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 5 at the Admiral Coontz Recreation Center, 301 Warren Barrett Drive.

In 2018 the Hannibal Walk raised more than $26,000, contributing to more than $97 million raised nationwide for care, support and research efforts for those impacted by Alzheimer's. The event will begin with registration at 8 a.m., followed by a ceremony at 9 a.m. and the two-mile walk at 9:30 a.m.
