Four Hannibal residents injured in collision

Three teens and another motorist, all from Hannibal, suffered minor injuries in a collision at 12:34 p.m. Sunday, May 5, in Marion County near Hannibal.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the collision was on Route T 1/8 mile south of Hannibal.

Officers said Shelbie E. Campbell, 22, was driving an eastbound 2017 Jeep on a private drive and failed to yield to a southbound 2006 Dodge Grand Caravan driven by Cameron W. Voepel, 16. The Voepel van hit the Campbell Jeep.

Both drivers were injured, along with Voepel's passengers, Parker A. Elliott, 17, and Chad A. Sharp, 15. All four were wearing seat belts. They went by private vehicle to Hannibal Regional Hospital.
