HHS girls second, boys seventh in home relays

Hannibal's girls finished second while the HHS boys placed seventh in the annual Mark Twain/Becky Thatcher relays hosted by Hannibal on April 26.
Pittsfield won the girls portion of the meet with 85 points. The Lady Pirates finished with 79 points.
Among the other area teams competing were: Bowling Green, ninth, 28 points; Palmyra, 10th, 23 points; South Shelby, 13th, 13 points; and Mark Twain, 14th, one point.
The Quincy Blue Devils won the boys title with 98.5 points. The Pirates finished with 49 points.
Other local teams competing were: Palmyra, second, 83 points; South Shelby, ninth, 34 points; Bowling Green, 10th, 30 points; Mark Twain, 14th, one point.
