Habitat for Humanity plans golf tournament

The Mark Twain Area Habitat for Humanity is planning a four-person scramble golf tournament Friday, May 17, at the Hannibal Country Club. Tee time will be 8 a.m. or 1 p.m. with a shotgun start. The rain date is May 24.

The entry fee is $350 per four-person team. Register by calling the club or mailing a registration form. The limit is 14 teams in the morning and 18 teams in the afternoon.

Breakfast will be served from 7-8 a.m. and lunch from noon-1 p.m., with a cash drink cart on the course.

The purse is $300 for first place in each session. Prizes will be presented for the longest drive, longest putt, closest to pin and a 50/50 raffle. Mulligans will be available.

Sponsorship ooptions are: turn key level, $400; sponsor a team, $350; and hole sponsor, $100.
