Three teens injured in one-vehicle accident

Three teenagers were injured Wednesday afternoon in a one-vehicle crash in Marion County.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol the accident happened at 4:20 p.m., April 24, on County Road 404, three miles northwest of Hannibal.
A 2014 Chevrolet Cruz was being driven west by 16-year-old Madison R. Worrell of Palmyra. The vehicle went off the left side of the road where it became airborne. It then hit a ditch and overturned, coming to rest on its top.
Worrell, who was wearing a safety device, suffered minor injuries. Two passengers, 15-year-old Gage A. Ruddell and 17-year-old Madelynn B. Wilson, both of Hannibal, sustained moderate injuries. Neither passenger was wearing a safety device.
All three teenagers were transported by Marion County ambulance to Blessing Hospital in Quincy, Ill.
