Rep. Louis Riggs (R-5) will come to the Hannibal Head Start Facility for a visit with staff and Head Start children on Friday, April 26 at 2181 Johnson St. The visit will begin at 1:30 p.m., when Rep. Riggs will read to a classroom of students for story time.

The visit will also highlight the ongoing need for Head Start services and the work done by center staff, volunteers and parents. This is also an opportunity for Riggs to tour the facility and meet Head Start children. This event also commemorates Week of the Young Child, celebrated by many of the Douglass Head Start centers earlier in April.

The event is being hosted by Douglass Community Services.
