North East Community Action Corporation (NECAC) Ralls County Board Member Judith Statler supervises the “daycare center” with NECAC volunteer Michelle James during a Reality Enrichment and Life Lessons (REALL) program Tuesday, March 5 at Mark Twain High School in Center. Participants start out portraying people who did not finish high school and are struggling to find a job. They then are given a new identity that includes a high school or college diploma and a well-paying job. The goal is to show students the importance of staying in school. NECAC is a 12-county area not-for-profit social service, community health and public housing agency. To find out more, or to schedule a REALL program, call NECAC’s Kayla Suchland at 573-324-6633.
