Palmyra resident Sandy Fessenden, seated at right, got to participate in the Spike Jones number “Cocktails for Two” during the Raintree Arts Council’s “Winter Blues Sweet Cure" concert Sunday, March 10 in the Ludwig Theatre at the Apple Shed in Clarksville. The audience was treated to jazz, classic and pop hits from professional musicians Patrick Joyce of St. Louis and Jerry Epperson of Clarksville. Pictured in addition to Fessenden, from left, are Joyce, Pike County singer Debbie Ingram, Epperson, and Clarksville Mayor Jo Anne Smiley, an accomplished musician who also participated in the song. The other singer for the concert was Donna Grote. Raintree is a not-for-profit, multi-disciplinary arts organization that receives partial financial assistance from the Missouri Arts Council, a state agency.
