6 named Hannibal Middle School Students of the Month for January

Staff and faculty members at Hannibal Middle School named two members of each grade level as January Students of the Month.

Sixth grade:

Ava Grace Bonvillian is the daughter of Dave and Jessica Bonvillian. She is a member of Drama Club, Maranatha Dance and Calvary Baptist Church Youth Group. Ava has received the Presidential Academic Award. She enjoys art, theatre, crafting and running.

Piper Jane Harvey is the daughter of Lance and Steffi Harvey. She is a member of the Peer Mentoring Group at HMS and the Fuse Youth Group at The Crossing Church. She plays soccer and competes in track. Piper has been named to the A Honor Roll. She enjoys reading writing music, playing guitar and writing short stories.

Seventh grade:

Cameron Cox is the son of Curtis and Lori Cox. He is a member of the HMS Theater Club, Arch United Methodist Church and FCA. Cameron plays baseball and competes in bowling. He enjoys hunting.

Ashlyn Hess is the daughter of Bob and Cindy Hess. She is a member of an HTH Club volleyball team. Ashlyn competes in volleyball, basketball and track. She enjoys playing volleyball and hanging out with friends.

Eighth grade:

Danny Glen Jeffries III is the son of Danny and Karen Jeffries. His nickname is Trey. Danny plays trombone in the HMS Band. He competes in wrestling. Danny received Perfect Attendance awards in sixth and seventh grade and was named to the B Honor Roll. He enjoys "lots of history."

Macy Jo Walden is the daughter of Chad and Debbie Walden. She is a Becky Thatcher in the Tom and Becky Program and is a member of the Clover Road Christian Church Youth Group, PTSO Box Tops Club and the Lighthouse Team. She is HMS football and basketball cheerleader cheer captain, a member of TriCity Quest Competitive Cheer Team and competes in tumbling. Macy received third place in the Spelling Bee and was named to the Honor Roll. She enjoys cheering, tumbling, hunting, fishing, painting and being with family.
