Hannibal woman injured in one-vehicle mishap

A Hannibal woman suffered minor injuries Wednesday night in a one-vehicle accident just west of Hannibal in Marion County.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol the mishap occurred at 10:20 p.m., Feb. 20, on Route MM at the Bear Creek bridge.

A 2003 Toyota Tundra was being driven west by 20-year-old Taylor J. Cook of Hannibal. The accident occurred when Cook lost control of the vehicle which crossed the center of the roadway and struck a concrete bridge barrier.

Cook, who was wearing a safety device, was transported by private vehicle to Hannibal Regional Hospital.
