NECAC heats things up

North East Community Action Corporation (NECAC) Pike County Service Coordinator Chandra Roberts and her daughter, Cayden, accept a donation Friday, Feb. 15 at the Hardee’s restaurant in Louisiana for the Rise & Shine fundraiser through Heat Up St. Louis. All proceeds contributed at Hardee’s in Louisiana and Bowling Green will stay in Pike County to assist income-qualifying residents with utility bills. NECAC, a not-for-profit 12-county area social service, community health and public housing agency, also participated in the fund-raising effort in Lincoln, Warren and St. Charles counties.
