Hannibal High School's wrestlers picked up a pair of victories Tuesday night in a quadrangular meet at Ladue.

The Pirates bested Ladue 45-19 and Westminster 53-12. Hannibal fell to St. Charles 46-30.

Against Ladue the Pirates won three matches by pins - Tyler Leonard (132 pounds), Matt Wilson (138) and Trevor Wilson (160). Winning in under a minute were Trevor Wilson (29 seconds) and Tyler Leonard (38 seconds). Matt Wilson's pin came at 5:11.

Hannibal's other on-the-mat win against Ladue was a 5-3 decision earned by Jameson White (195 pounds).

Against Westminster, Hannibal won five matches by pins and another by a technical fall.

Pinning their opponents were Darrell Taylor (126 pounds) at 2:34, Tyler Leonard (132 pounds) at 2:09, Trevor Wilson (160 pounds) at 30 seconds, Vernell Hawkins (170 pounds) at 1:53 and Brady Zimmerman (182 pounds) at 1:00.

Posting the technical fall victory, 22-7, was Tanner Leonard (145 pounds).

Again St. Charles, Hannibal won a pair of matches by pins - Garrett Ruby (152 pounds) at 1:15 and Hawkins (170 pounds) at 1:08.

Hannibal also received a 20-2 technical fall victory from Tyler Leonard (132 pounds).

The Pirates next compete on Thursday at Fort Zumwalt North.
