Shooting incident reported around 8:30 p.m. Sunday at 4th and Hill streets

Two suspects were transported from the scene for medical treatment after a possible robbery and shots fired incident Sunday evening in downtown Hannibal.

Hannibal police officers transported the uninjured subjects to the Hannibal Police Department as they conducted their investigation. Two suspects face felony charges, filed Monday, Jan. 21 by Prosecuting Attorney Luke Bryant: Will A. Sewell, 20, of Hannibal, and Davion S. Tate, 19, of Hannibal, are each charged with the Class D felony of stealing. 

Sewell and Tate are currently lodged in the Marion County Jail with $50,000 cash-only bonds.

Hannibal Police officers were assisted by members of the Marion County Sheriff's Department and the Missouri State Highway Patrol. Law enforcement officials report the investigation will continue and more arrests are pending.
