Royal Caribbean has barred a Washington man from its fleet of cruise ships.

The lifetime ban was issued after the man, Nick Naydev, jumped from the Symphony of the Seas while it was in the Bahamas.

Naydev was on an 11th-story deck when he jumped, falling an estimated 100 feet into the water below, according to The Associated Press.

After he surfaced, Naydev says he and his friends were kicked off the ship and had to book a flight home.

Naydev was notified of the lifetime ban a short time later.

Royal Caribbean said it is looking into possible legal action against Naydev, the AP reported.
