With the potential for freezing drizzle tonight starting between 8 p.m. and 11 p.m. and lasting through tomorrow mid morning, northeast Missouri travelers need to be aware there is the possibility roads will have a glazing of ice on them.

There is also a higher possibility for the same to occur the following night into Thursday. Please plan accordingly. Missouri Department of Transportation crews will be out later tonight to monitor roads and treat as needed. Please know the roads may appear to be only wet, but with the below-freezing temperatures, it will likely be black ice.

Use caution, and if you have to drive, go slow. Always wear a seat belt and put your phone down while driving.
