9th Annual Prom Dress Resale planned in Palmyra

The First Christian Church in Palmyra will host the 9th Annual Prom Dress Resale Friday, Jan. 25 and Saturday, Jan. 26 at the Zion Lutheran School basement, 120 S. Spring St., Palmyra.

Dresses may be brought in and registered from 6 to 8 p.m.Wednesday, Jan. 23, Thursday, Jan. 24 and Friday, Jan. 25.

The sale will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Jan. 25 and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 26.

Event organizers and volunteers had over 480 dresses last year and they expect this year to be just as great.

The selection of styles and prices are sure to please everyone. Come find that perfect prom dress at a fraction of the cost.

Admission is free. There is a flat $10 registration fee per seller and a 15 percent commission charged on each dress sold. The fee income goes to help pay costs of improvements and upkeep at the First Christian Church.
