Options for bicentennial gun to be presented to City Council

Palmyra City Council members and city officials discussed the next steps for an outer road from overpass to overpass on the east side of U.S. 61 during their regular meeting Thursday, Dec. 20.

Board of Public Works Superintendent Brent Abell shared reports about including the status of a pre-treatment program, battery and relay upgrades for the electrical substation, removal of old utility poles during electrical upgrade work, and adding two lights to the “Palmyra” arrow sign.
