Sharing holiday hope

Oakwood Christian Church collected $740 for a family in Douglass Community Services’ (DCS) Holiday Hope Adopt A Family Christmas program. DCS’s Teens in Motion group will do the shopping and wrapping for the family. The Holiday Hope program receives referrals from school counselors and area agencies, with over 50 families receiving assistance each year.

 Music Under the Stars season begins June 4
HANNIBAL | Steppin' Back, the Hannibal band that traditionally opens and closes the seasonal Music Under the Stars concerts, is again scheduled twice in this year's concert dates. The band plays '60s, '70s and '80s rock and roll.
