North East Community Action Corporation (NECAC) President and Chief Executive Officer Don Patrick has announced the hiring of three weatherization specialists.

Ryan Branstetter and Stanley Williams of Bowling Green, and Charlie Willis of Hannibal will be a part of the NECAC Weatherization Program, which provides upgrades to more than 300 homes each year. All three have construction experience and will receive additional weatherization intensive training through the Missouri Department of Economic Development’s Division of Energy, which contracts with NECAC to offer the program.

Work can be as simple as caulking around windows or as complicated as putting in a new furnace. Many homes need new insulation. The goal is to allow clients to lower their utility bills and help communities improve their housing stock. NECAC can spend up to $6,500 per home. Rental and owner-occupied units and mobile homes are eligible.

Branstetter is a 1998 graduate of Clopton High School and has worked in construction. He and his wife, Jessica, have two children.

Williams is a 1999 graduate of McClure North High School in Florissant and has an associate degree in computer technology from Florissant Valley Community College. He previously worked at Advance Painting & Contracting of Florissant. Williams has three daughters.

Willis is a 1991 graduate of Palmyra High School and a Navy veteran. He is the former owner of a construction business and has two daughters
