Jackson A. Jones, 21, of Louisiana, went by ambulance to Pike County Memorial Hospital for treatment of moderate injuries suffered in a collision at 4:06 p.m. Friday, Nov. 23, in rural Pike County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported the collision occurred on U.S. 54 at Roue NN. Officers said Jackson was driving a westbound 2005 Mercury Mountaineer and turning from Route NN to westbound 54. He failed to yield to an eastbound 2009 Ford Taurus X driven by Ruth P. Stanley, 61, of Cole Camp, turning into the path of her car.

After the collision, Stanley's car went off the left side of the road. Both drivers were wearing seat belts, and Stanley did not report injuries.
