Roadwork coming soon for U.S. Route 36 in Marion County

Weather permitting, Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) crews will conduct pavement repairs and light pole work on Tuesday, Oct. 23 and Wednesday, Oct. 24 on U.S. Route 36 in Marion County.


There will be one-lane traffic in the eastbound lane from Route Z to Route J for pavement repairs. Work will be completed between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m., but the work zone will remain in place continuously for the duration of the scheduled work.


Motorists may experience delays during this time. Please remember to always obey all work zone signs and personnel. Also, please put down your cell phone to help eliminate distractions.
