Nadine N. Phillips, 36, of Bowling Green, was flown to Mercy Hospital in St. Louis after suffering serious injuries in a collision at 7:48 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 4, in Pike County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported the collision was on westbound Business 54 at N. 15th St.

Officers said a 2004 Ford F250 driven by Eric L. Hancock, 22, of Vandalia, was approaching N. 15th Street, and a 2004 Ford Explorer driven by Phillips was stopped on Business 54, waiting to turn left onto N. 15th Street.

The front of the Hancock truck hit the rear of the Phillips vehicle, which went off the left side of the road and hit a nearby building.

The Phillips vehicle then traveled through the building and hit a dumpster and the front of a fifth wheel trailer, stopping under the front of the trailer.
