Center woman injured in collision

Rosanne L. Epperson, 63, of Center, suffered minor injuries in a collision at 7:35 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 8, on U.S. 61 two miles south of Hannibal in Ralls County. She went by private vehicle to Hannibal Regional Hospital.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported the collision occurred when a westbound 2016 Jeep Cherokee driven by Epperson pulled into the path of a northbound 2017 Nissan Sentra driven by Thomas J. Palmer, 60, of North Liberty, Iowa. Both drivers were wearing seat belts.

The State Patrol was assisted at the scene by the Ralls County Sheriff's Department, Hannibal Rural Fire Department and Marion County Ambulance personnel.
