Camp registration ends July 5; participants will be accepted until July 9

The Northeast Missouri Area Health Education Center will host a unique camp designed to enrich middle schoolers with hands-on activities and education in the science and health fields, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday, July 19 and Friday, July 20 at Hannibal-LaGrange University and Hannibal Regional.

Marion County M*A*S*H (Missouri AHEC Science and Health) camp is a two-day “hands-on” science and health summer day camp for students entering sixth, seventh and eighth grades, aimed to spark an interest in healthcare and science prior to high school coursework. Camp instructors include health professionals, health educators and faculty from Marion County. Students will participate in a variety of activities including chemistry/biology labs, scrub/dissection labs, Emergency Medical Service demonstrations, hospital tours and other healthcare career activities.
