On Wednesday, Feb. 14, members of Mark Twain 4-H Club met at Florida Presbyterian Church, with Ryan Breid and Kenzie Dodge leading the pledges. A brief meeting was held with ten members, seven leaders and nine guests present. Members answered roll call and gave a report of projects. The treasurer report was given.

All new leaders need to complete volunteer orientation online. Show Me Quality Assurance training will be held on March 7, at 6 p.m. at the 4-H Building. A reminder will be sent out by Stephanie for anyone needing to complete this training. Shooting Sports Safety Training will be Friday, Feb. 23, from 6 to 9 p.m. and Saturday, Feb. 24 from 9 a.m. to noon at the Paris Library. All first year project members of shooting sports are required to attend both sessions. It is that time of the year to collect for Fair Ads, please let Mary know who can help and get these turned in.

Mark Twain 4-H has purchased ten more Chemotherapy bags. These will need to be filled and turned in before Blow Away Cancer night. Achievement Day is Saturday, March 17 at 9 a.m. at the Paris Elementary School. Everyone participating in Achievement Day must turn in pre-registration by Friday, March 3 to the Monroe county Extension Office. A change has been made to the Monroe County Fair, all hams and bacons sold in the sale will be in the possession of the buyer that night of the sale and are not eligible to show at the Missouri State Fair. A health tip was given by Dawson Bross and a safety tip by Kaden Graupman. Next meeting will be Sunday, March 4, for our 4-H Get a Way.
