Tree knowledge blossoms for Eugene Field Elementary School fourth grade students

Ed Tamerius, with the Hannibal Tree Board, talks to fourth graders at Eugene Field Elementary School during their Arbor Day Celebration on Friday, April 28. Each student received a pine tree from the Missouri Department of Conservation to plant, and they learned about what trees do for the environment and how BASF employees and donations have helped the Hannibal Tree Board plant hundreds of trees in the area.
