The Palmyra R-I Parents as Teachers Program invites families and their preschool aged children to attend the last playgroup of the year on Tuesday, May 9, 9 a.m., at the Palmyra Elementary School.

Wear your swimsuit or play clothes for a morning of water, sunshine and fun. Activities will include sand pools, water pools, bikes, painting, bubbles, and side walk chalk, just a name a few.

Shoes must be worn by children and adults at all times. Families are encouraged to bring a towel or change of clothes due to the numerous water activities.

Celebrate Summer will be canceled if the weather is stormy or cold. The decision will be made by 8 a.m. the morning of May 9.

For more information, families may contact the Parents as Teachers Office at or (573)769-2191.
