Monroe Manor Nursing Home District announced its annual employees of the year and presented service awards to its 100-employee staff during ceremonies Thursday, Dec. 22.

Three members of the nursing home’s nursing staff were selected by their colleagues to receive employee of the year [EOTY] recognition.

Regina Webber, an LPN, was presented with the Manor’s EOTY. The nurse is familiar with the annual end-of-year honors; three times in the previous four years she was the EOTY runner-up.

Webber, who joined the Manor in April 2009, has 17 years nursing experience since receiving her license from Moberly Area Community College; she has worked at both the Hannibal and Moberly hospitals and for a local doctor.

Another LPN, Margie Seeley, and a certified nurse assistant, Alayciah Hardin, tied in voting for EOTY runner-up.

Seeley joined the Manor five years ago and has 20-years nursing experience; before joining the Manor team she worked at both the Mexico and Hannibal hospitals and at a area nursing home.

Hardin’s first job as a teenager was a high school aide working in the Manor’s dietary department a decade ago. After graduating from the local Christian Academy, she joined the Manor’s staff in May 2012.
