Joel Dant, Campaign Chairman for the United Way of the Mark Twain Area joins with Doug Aeilts, CEO and General Manager of Northeast Power as they celebrate the successful participation of Northeast Power in the 2016 United Way campaign. Frank Di Tillo, United Way Director, said that Northeast Power supports the United Way in many ways with volunteer support on the United Way Board of Directors, Allocation Committee, Past Campaign Chairs and being highly coveted Day of Caring volunteers. The celebration with Northeast Power is well timed as the United Way continues working towards its goal for 2016. Reaching the campaign goal will allow the United Way of the Mark Twain Area to fully fund its allocation commitments. Every campaign dollar is allocated to assist one of the agencies as it serves the clients of Northeast Missouri. Since 1939, the United Way of the Mark Twain Area has taken a leading role in Northeast Missouri, not just in fundraising, but also in proactively identifying needs, resources and providing solutions. The employees and management team of Northeast Power through their support of the United Way and their enthusiastic volunteer work in the communities of Northeast Missouri and Southeast Iowa show that they have earnestly adopted this year’s campaign theme by Joel Dant, "The United Way . . . It’s Personal."
